J.G. Long, earned an MBA in marketing and finance; additionally he attended Georgia State Law School. He serves as chairman of Sterling, Winchester & Long, LLC board of director, and is a certified mediator, arbitrator and contract negotiator. Mr. Long has held several professional positions in the financial industry with the Federal Home Loan Bank, Office of Thrift Supervision, Wachovia Bank, and the Resolution Trust Corporation, a FDIC subsidiary.
Our practice also involves client representation, in that we represent employers, and employees before the federal EEO Commission, Merit System Protection Board, DOL and state human services agency’s, where employees have filed a claim of discrimination or disparate treatment. Client representation requires a full understanding the EEO and other employment regulations and laws in the context of knowing when an employee’s rights have been violated or when an organization has met the standard of federal and state compliance.

ARBITRATION: Conduct and control arbitration conferences and hearings; establish ground rules of behavior & consistent enforcement; understand & interpreting the code of arbitration procedure; review code of ethics, pertinent case law, motions, rulings, submissions, documents to prepare for conferences, hearings and panel deliberations; rule on infertile motions, process abuses, & unreasonable, discovery requests, redundant evidence and/or testimonies, failure to comply with orders or scheduling procrastination; & deciding & ruling on matters presented before the panel in an efficient, methodical manner based on codes of arbitration,
CFR, state laws & case laws.
